6. THE GHENT BEER DISCOVERY
Small (45 min.)
An enthralling historical passage through Medieval Ghent (see excursion 1).
Every passenger is offered an original regional beer called 'Gentse Tripel' (33cl) along with cheese cubes and the inevitable 'Mosterd van Tierenteyn' (world famous mustard, an exquisite Ghent speciality)
Medium (2 hours)
The guided boat trip 'Completely Ghent' (see excursion 2) ending at the city brewery Gruut. On board you enjoy a typical regional beer called 'Gentse Tripel' (33 cl), along with a collection of nibbles containing lightly salted nuts and crackers.
You then visit the Gruut brewery where you learn about brewing and taste 3 beers with cheese cubes, salami and the famous 'Tierenteyn' mustard.

No problem whatsoever!
Per person:

≈ or 1 glass of wine, red or white
≈ or 1 glass of sparkling wine
≈ or 1 glass (5 cl) of Dutch Gin or fruit flavoured Gin.
Same choice for the entire group.
Decanters of fruit juice as a free extra.
Price: guided excursion + € 3.50 per person.
Privilege for appetizer’s excursions: always decanters of fruit juice at your disposal. The juice can be replaced by mineral water if mentioned with your order.
Privilege for a private boat: you can bring along your own drinks if you like.
For security reasons, only 2 alcoholic drinks per person will be allowed.
